About this app
Stillshot is the right tool when you need a clean still from a video — a thumbnail, a screenshot for a doc, a hero image. Open any MP4, MOV, MKV, or WebM, scrub the timeline frame-by-frame with arrow buttons, and capture the current frame in PNG (lossless), JPG (with quality slider), or WebP. Batch mode captures every N seconds across the whole clip and lays the results out as a contact sheet. Captures pin to the timeline as green markers so you can revisit them. ffmpeg under the hood for codec breadth; no re-encoding of the rest of the video.
